I was disappointed that the bus I took to UCL was a long, bendy bus and not a double decker. But, coming home from Brick Lane, Tanya and I got to take one. We sat in the front seats on the top level--it definitely takes getting used to. Your perspective is skewed, so you feel like the bus keeps mowing down cyclists and pedestrians...

Buses are good for getting to see the city, which you can't do on the tube. (Plus they're cheaper and don't have a bunch of routes closed on the weekends.) |
