Budapest (06-08/08/11)

A bit out of order, but this is Budapest.
Opera House

Heldenplatz. My guidebook was in German and Hungarian,
so I don't actually know what some of the places are called in English.

Parliament. Modeled after Westminster, but
a tad bit longer. Competition much?

The second biggest synagogue in the world.

A fountain in the Freiheitsplatz.

The British are very excited about the Olympics.

Central Market Hall.

Market Hall

The Danube. Buda on the left, Pest on the right.

Big statue at the top of the hill

This dude was punished by being shut in
a barrel with stones and rolled down the
hill into the Danube.

Haha.

French graffiti.

Sunday morning - the streets are almost completely empty.

Vorosmarty Square.

The Tower Bridge! Oh wait, that's in London. This is the Chain Bridge.
