I was disappointed that the bus I took to UCL was a long, bendy bus and not a double decker. But, coming home from Brick Lane, Tanya and I got to take one. We sat in the front seats on the top level--it definitely takes getting used to. Your perspective is skewed, so you feel like the bus keeps mowing down cyclists and pedestrians...

|Buses are good for getting to see the city, which you can't do on the tube. (Plus they're cheaper and don't have a bunch of routes closed on the weekends.)|
|Apparently there's a street called "Cheapside."|
